The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is seeking a capable and professional individual to fill the role of Manager, Database Processing Unit
within the Information Access Branch of the Parliamentary Library.
The successful candidate will have strong team management skills and the relevant knowledge and experience in harvesting and processing material for
digital collections.
You will also have a demonstrated ability to apply, in an effective and innovative manner, technology that is appropriate for the job at hand.
Relevant qualifications in the library and information sector (librarian or library technician) are required. Physical capacity to operate manual and
electric storage units and to handle archival boxes weighing 4 to 6 kilograms is also required.
