Defence Support – Victoria / Tasmania Region is looking for a highly motivated, capable and flexible librarian with strong client service and staff
supervision skills who, with limited direction from their Library Services Manager will deliver high quality library services to Defence personnel.
These services include supporting and training clients to use the Defence Library Service's information resources, services and products; undertaking
research and reference work; and providing document delivery, current awareness and lending services. This position also has responsibility for day to day
management of the Puckapunyal library and supervision of its Library Officer.
Mandatory Qualification: Applicants must have completed tertiary qualifications that meet the eligibility requirements for Associate membership of the
Australian Library and Information Association.
