Our client is a high profile University Library in the North West. They are seeking a Resources Librarian with comprehensive experience in serials
acquisition both digital and print.
This is a contract role to the end of the financial year, ideally seeking to place on a full time basis but would consider 4 days a week for the right
person.
Reporting to the Library Resources Team Leader for Serials, you will be assisting with the management and maintenance of serials subscriptions, both print
and e-resources.
To be successful in this role you can demonstrate:

An awareness of national and international standards and developments for acquisitions standards, developments and metadata issues

Experience in serials acquisitions for a large tertiary, government or corporate environment

Highly developed problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex systems

Experience in troubleshooting e-resource access issues

Experience with Serials Solutions 360 Link and 360 Counter

Experience with discovery services, and their configuration and RDA: Resource Description and Access would be an advantage
You have demonstrated experience with managing vendor relationshiops, are a positive team player, and have the ability to respond to a changing
environment. You will be able to provide advice to ensure processes and procedures remain best-practice.
