Do you enjoy travelling? Are you able to relocate for a 3 month contract? This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Librarian or Library Technician to explore regional NSW.

Our client is a local government Library responsible for delivering a high level library and information service to this dynamic and progressive regional community.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience in public libraries
• Proficiency in a range of library tasks including cataloguing, collection management, client service, and reference
• Formal qualifications in Librarianship or Information Management (including Lib Technicians)
• Experience in supervising staff
• Confidence with technology including the use of Library Management Systems, the Internet and online databases and word processing

You will be self motivated, with the ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines, flexible and able to assist in a period of change, with a positive and "can do" work attitude.

You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and an understanding of and the ability to work with OH&S Health and Safety policies and procedures. A drivers licence is very desirable.
