The position of Bettison and James Curator provides a rare opportunity for someone with extensive experience in curatorial and public outreach activities
to bring their skills to a new position with a broad ranging role within the National Library of Australia.
The successful applicant will be able to develop the position in consultation with the Director General and Library curators and collecting managers.
The position has been created to assist the promotion of the Library's collections through contribution to research about the collections, publications,
exhibitions, events and education programs and representational activities including fundraising.
The occupant of this position is expected to have a strong public profile.
This position is for a period of three years.
