Information and eScholarship Research employing a total of more than 213 staff.
The University of Melbourne Library is again offering an intake of two Professional Library Cadets for students currently undertaking postgraduate
librarianship studies. The Cadetship offers a full-time position until April 2015.
The program offers cadets the opportunity to receive diverse and stimulating experience working in placements and rotations with various premier academic
library service teams to provide assistance within their undergraduate discipline. The cadets will develop broader skills, knowledge and leadership
experience, according to the cadets' interests and the Library's strategic priorities.
In addition, the cadets will undertake part-time study in a postgraduate library and information course. Preference will be given to applicants with
degrees relevant to Music, Visual and the Performing Arts, Law, or Biosciences, although applicants with degrees in other disciplines may also apply.
