Located on 126 hectares, we enjoy excellent facilities and we are easily accessible by rail and bus. The new Macquarie University Library opened in August 2011 and is the first University Library in Australia to install an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). This technology underpins a shift in focus from traditional hard copy resources to support for technology enabled learning.

Within the Library, the role of the Library Services team is to deliver client focused services utilising new and emerging technologies in line with University strategic directions for a blended learning and research experience.
