The Development Program Assistant works within the Development Office in the Community Outreach Branch. With a sound knowledge of managing relationships
through a CRM database, the Development Program Assistant will maintain a database of Library contacts, donors and sponsors and assist in providing
administrative support to the Development Office and Director, Community Outreach Branch.
The Development Program Assistant requires the ability to communicate effectively with a number of internal and external Library stakeholders, both orally
and in written communication. The Development Program Assistant will assist in producing relevant financial reports using Raiser’s Edge and Finance One,
the Library’s financial management information system. The Development Program Assistant will provide secretariat support to the National Library of
Australia Foundation Board including preparation and distribution of meeting papers, taking minutes and making travel bookings.
The Community Outreach Branch builds relationships between the Library and diverse communities, creating greater awareness of the Library and its range of
resources. The Branch incorporates the Development Office, Events and Education, Volunteer Program and Friends of the National Library of Australia.
