The Standards developed by the ALIA/ASLA policy group have won the LinksPlus E-library Commendation Award from the International Association of School Librarianship. The judging panel described the publication as outstanding and praised its validation of the work of teacher-librarians, providing a sound model for adoption by other bodies. The standards will be included in the conference stachels for the IASL conference in Hong Kong in 2005 and in Lisbon, Portugal, in 2006. |
