What qualifications do you need and where can you study?

The following Institutions offer ALIA-accredited courses at librarian, teacher-librarian and library technician level:

• Librarian (undergraduate and postgraduate)
  Institutions offering ALIA-accredited librarianship qualifications


• Teacher-librarian (postgraduate)
  Institutions offering ALIA-accredited teacher librarian qualifications


• Library technician
  Institutions offering ALIA-accredited library technician qualifications

ALIA's course accreditation program is integral to the Association's role as a standards body as it provides a benchmark for entry to the profession.
