course description

This course is delivered fully off-campus in flexible delivery mode. Students undertake training in their own time and at their own pace, either in fulltime mode or part-time mode. Students must be currently working in a library or have completed the Certificate III or IV in Library/Information Services to be eligible to enrol. If required, a Vocational Placement in a library can be organised.

Applicants need to be computer literate, be proficient in Mircrosoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications and will need to have access to a computer and the internet. This course requires students to access the elearning platform my.Tafe to download Learner Guides and to do online tutorials.

Sunshine Coast TAFE has an articulation agreement with Charles Sturt University, and upon successful completion of the Diploma course, students can apply to CSU to complete an undergraduate degree in Librarianship and may receive advanced standing and credits into this course.
