course descriptionDiploma of Library and Information Services. This is a 2 semester (one year full-time) course and is also available part-time and online. Entry requires the successful completion of a Year 12 certificate but mature-age applications are accepted without this qualification. Industry placement is offered in the final semester of study.

ALIA accreditationThe Diploma of Library/Information Services is recognised by ALIA until November 2014.
Course Advisory CommitteeThe Course Advisory Committee is made up of local industry representatives who participate in reviewing and evaluating the course material and provides input into current trends in the industry.
The Course Advisory Committee meets twice a year.
