| course description | Diploma of Library/Information Services with an earlier exit point at Certificate IV in Library / Information Services after 1 year's full-time study. Certificate III is also an exit option. The Diploma course includes 180 hours of industry placement.
The Diploma course can be completed in two years of full-time study. It is also available on a part-time basis and by off campus (external studies).
Recogniton of prior learning (RPL) and Recognition of current competency (RCC) are also available.
Entrance requirements are completion of Year 12 or mature-age entry. Applicants should have demonstrated ability in keyboarding and have good literacy and communication skills.

| Course Advisory Committee | The Course Advisory Committee is made up of local industry representatives who participate in reviewing and evaluating the course material and provides input into current trends in the industry.
The Course Advisory Committee meets twice per year.
