| course description | Applicants must have completed Year 12 or equivalent. Applicants over 21 without formal qualifications may apply. This course provides a learning pathway to the training package qualification, Diploma of Library/Information Services (CUL50104), from the Museum and Library/Information Services Training Package (CUL04).
This course is offered in two stages: Certificate III Level available over six months full-time and one year on-line. This Certificate is available on-campus via face-to-face delivery or off-campus via the Internet (on-line). Certificate III (course number 19163) provides an early exit point.
The second stage: Diploma Level is offered on successful completion of Certificate III Level and is available over one year full-time and online. Course number 19165. |

| Course Advisory Committee | The Course Advisory Committee is made up of local industry representatives who participate in reviewing and evaluating the course material and provides input into current trends in the industry.
The Course Advisory Committee meets 3 times per year.
