Contacting ALIA

The Association maintains a national office in Canberra, with around 20 full-time staff. Additionally, State / Territory Managers [see link alongside in sidebar] are based in most states to assist in local matters and offer a method of liaison between local members and the ALIA National Office. Members of ALIA have formed groups to develop activities either based on regional areas or on types of interests within the library and information sector, and are represented by office-bearers.

The primary tool in use at present to pinpoint details of ALIA office-bearers and staff is via Vital Link Online, an online database with a powerful search facility and automatically updated from our membership database. It also contains direct phone numbers for office-bearers and staff alike.
