Ann Clyde Memorial Prize	arlwa	An annual prize for an essay or presentation with a research component. Three winners each receive a $100 cheque
Anne Harrison Award	healthnat	Commemorating Anne Harrison, the award is available in alternate years for research or education in health librarianship.
F A Sharr Medal	aliawest	The F A Sharr Medal is awarded to a Western Australian librarian or library technician in their first year of employment who exhibits the most potential to make a significant contribution to the library profession in WA.
HLA/HCN Health Informatics Innovation Award 2013	healthnat	The purpose of this Award is to acknowledge excellence/innovation in performance by an individual information professional or team. This award provides an opportunity for those working in the Australian health and biomedical library sector to showcase innovative projects which, through the use of health informatics or web technologies, contribute to or support improved health outcomes. The Award is presented annually at a relevant ALIA event with a health focus. The recipient/s will be presented with a certificate and $3,000 to further their professional development. All arrangements are to be undertaken by the awardee/s after approval of the award and funds must be consumed within 12 months of receiving advice of the award. IOG Excellence Award	infog	A biennial prize to enable an ALIA information professional to pursue excellence and innovation in performance through project work.
Library Technician of the Year Award	libtnat	This award promotes the role of library technicians in library and information science, and the role and image of the library technician.
Maria Gemenis Award. This award has now ceased	infog	Recognised an outstanding contribution by a member of ALIA Information Online Group Group in an information management role or special library environment.
Nancy Booker Honour Lecture	cysnsw	The Nancy Booker Honour Lecture was instituted by the NSW Group of the Children\'s and Youth Services.
Queensland Library Technician of the Year [Recent Graduate] Award	libtqld	This award, for recent graduates in library and information sciences in Queensland, aims to promote the role and image of library technicians in the library and information industry and/or in the wider community and to encourage library technicians to join and support their professional association, ALIA.
Randolph Stow Young Writers Award – No Longer Offered By ALIA	geraldton	This award was previously maintained by ALIA Geraldton Mid-West Regional Group (this group has disbanded)

The YBP Library Services Practicum Prize	arlwa	An annual cash prize for the top student in a practicum undertaken at a university or research institution
WA Library Technicians Group (WALT) Conference grant	libtwa	A biennial grant, to enable a WA library technician student or recent graduate to attend a national library technicians\' conference.
WA Special Librarian of the Year	aliawest	The WA Special Librarian of the Year Award is presented anually during a Library and Information Week function. It is judged by members of the committee, an industry representative and the winner of the previous year\'s award.
