ALIA NEWSOpposing cuts to Victorian public librariesALIA has been working closely with PLVN and MAV to support Victorian public libraries as they fight against announced funding cuts of $5.7 million. ALIA has urged the Victorian State Government to fully fund library services and to heed research undertaken in the recent report, Dollars, Sense and Public Libraries. Shortlisted works for the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards have been announced.
