COMPETITION!!
Technology let us down last month and we asked an unanswerable question (sorry about that). So this month we're extending the October competition. Read on...
Every 29 seconds, someone in the world is diagnosed with cancer and, in an instant, they have to come to terms with a whole new future. Because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Big Sky Publishing has generously donated two very special prize packs to help raise awareness of cancer and share the extraordinary insights of those who have faced the challenge. This month's prize pack includes signed copies of Pieces of Me (plus DVD) by film director/performer and mum Veronica Neave, detailing her journey from discovery that she carried the breast cancer gene and how she dealt with all that followed, and the inspirational What I Wish I Knew, by Marty Wilson and Gary Bertwhistle, packed with real life advice from survivors, families and professionals. (Check out www.bigskypublishing.com.au for reviews of both books.)
To win your prize pack, simply answer this question: What's the closing date for nominations for the 2012 ALIA Board? Email your answer to incite@alia.org.au and please include your membership number and postal address for prizes in your answer. Good luck!
