Membership and events database tender

ALIA has put out a tender for a new membership and events database. This is an exciting opportunity to extend the services we provide to our valued members. The Hollywood Librarian. Coming to a screen near you.

We've had many inquiries about the Hollywood Librarian movie, premiered at the recent ALA conference in front of an audience of 5,000 in Washington. Check out the Washington Post story at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/06/23/AR2007062301378.html and see a trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8kd4fC1bwo

ALIA has now contacted Ann Seidl, whose brainchild the movie was, about bringing it to Australia. The great news is she's just as keen as we are to bring the movie here. We don't yet know how, or when, but we're working on that. So stay tuned, polish up your premiere togs and watch this space. http://www.hollywoodlibrarian.com/
