Response to ALIA's letter to the Minister for Industrial Relations regarding the New South Wales Labour Hire Task Force

I refer to your recent letter dated 28 May 2001, to the Hon J Della Bosca MLC Special Minister of State, Minister for Industrial Relations, Assistant Treasurer, in relation to the Australian Library and Information Association's contributions to the New South Wales Labour Hire Task Force. The Mininster has asked me to reply to you on his behalf.

The Chair of the Task Force, Ms Jennie George, presented the Final Report to the Minister on 1 March 2001. The Report makes a number of Recommendations and requests forconsideration of other matters. The Minister is currently considering the Report and its recommendations, and as soon as he is in a position to do so, will advise you of any actions he proposes to take in relation to the report.

The Minister has asked me to thanl ALIA for its assistance and contributions to the Task Force.
