ALIA Stars 2006

ALIA Stars is an advocacy program of the Australian Library and Information Association. It is designed to identify and promote innovation and achievements of personal and institutional ALIA members. ALIA Stars is an opportunity to highlight and promote the success stories of ALIA members within and beyond the sector.

ALIA launched the ALIA Stars program during Library and Information Week 2005 with the announcement of the first ALIA Stars.

In 2006, the ALIA Stars will be the winners of ALIA's premier awards and the Excellence Awards.The premier awards include the HCL Anderson, Redmond Barry and Elinor Archer Awards, and ALIA Fellowships. The excellence awards include the excellence award and the Metcalfe Award.

The 2006 ALIA Stars are:
